Joe H. Barrett

Joe H. Barrett, age 79, of Woodbury passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at NHC in McMinnville.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Billie Cummings Barrett of Woodbury; Daughter and Son-in-law, Rhonda (Adam) Clark of Woodbury; 3 Grandchildren, Shalynn Clark and Jacob Clark both of Woodbury and Deanna Pemberton of Lebanon; 1 Great-Grandchild, Keely Pemberton of Lebanon; 2 Brothers, Dee Barrett and Bobby Barrett both of Woodbury; and 2 Sisters, Shirley Moody of Murfreesboro and Mary Effler of KY.

Mr. Barrett was preceded in death by his parents, Leburn and Louise Gill Barrett; his daughter, Jolene Pemberton; and 3 brothers, Jimmy, Pearson, and Donnie Barrett.

Joe was a member of the Sunny Hills Baptist Church and a truck driver, hauling cars. He was a hard worker and always had a project going on.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday, February 23, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. John Jones and Bro. Marvin Davenport officiating. Interment will follow at Prater Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 3 to 8 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Woodbury Funeral Home.
