Liberty Man Charged With DUI

Kenneth Dee Barrett, 716 Sugar Tree Knob Rd., Liberty, was charged with DUI 1st Offense, violation of the open container law and violation of the financial responsibility law on Aug. 4 by Woodbury Police Sgt. John House.

Barrett was charged following a vehicular crash with property damage on W. Main St.

Inside his vehicle was found a gym bag which contained a open can of beer, two empty cans of beer and two unopened cans of beer.

Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is Sept. 20.
