Linda Lee Smith

Linda Lee Smith, age 77 of Woodbury, TN, passed away on May 29, 2023 at St. Thomas West in Nashville. She was born in Mount Vernon, IL on March 5th, 1946, to the late Ralph "Bill" Rockett and Norma Lee Rockett.
She had a successful career at Matheson Gas Company until retiring to provide childcare for her grandkids. She spent her life serving others through food by creating and volunteering at food pantries and serving as head cook at Brush Creek Campgrounds and at Gary D. Wright Elementary School. She was a devoted Christian and her greatest joy in life was her 5 grandchildren.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Norma Lee Rockett and brother, Garry Rockett. She is survived by her husband, Harold Smith; children Rita (Troy) Faunce and Jerald Smith (Tanja Schlegel); grandchildren Trent, Michaela, Trey Faunce and Jasper and Ezekial Smith; and dog, Miss. Bullet.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Experience Church, Woodbury, TN at 3:00pm on Sunday, July 2nd.
