Lion golfers advance to Region tournament

The Cannon County Lions Golf team have advanced to the Region Tournament for the first time in the program's history after placing second in the district tournament that took place this past Monday and Tuesday. While Watertown took first with an overall team score of 420, Cannon came in second with a team score of 438. Bradly Vickers and Luke Jakes led the team with a score of 103. Jakes took fifth overall in the tournament and won the tie breaker between he and Vickers. Chris Young shot 107 while Austin Taylor scored 125 and Branden Schwartz shot 143. The Region tournament is schedule to start Monday September 18th
