Mad Mother-In-Law Allegedly Files False Report

A Rickman woman was charged by the Woodbury Police Department following an unusual incident.

According to the police report, Christine Ann Dilts of 109 Hilltop Lane, Rickman, allegedly called Cannon County Dispatch on Nov. 6 and said there was a domestic incident taking place at 901 West Main St. in Woodbury.

Dilts told Dispatch she was getting gas at the Tobacco Outlet when she was actually in Rickman (in Overton Co.) where she lives. There was no domestic incident. She called it in because she was mad at her former daughter-in-law.

Dilts also allegedly used a false name when she called Dispatch. The name she gave Dispatch was Julie Smith.

Dilts was charged with Filing a False Report and Criminal Impersonation. Initial court date is Dec. 20.
