Man Ordered To Stay Away From Midway Fire Dept.

Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Smith received a 911 complaint of a suspicious person at the Midway Fire Dept. on Highway 53 in the Midway Community prowling around the building on Aug. 20.

When Deputy Smith arrived he observed a person lying on the ground. The man refused to provide his name or where he was from.

He was transported to the sheriff’s department and charged with criminal trespassing.

Corrections Officer Albert Summers questioned the subject and learned his name was Tony Wallace. Cannon County Dispatch did an identity check and learned his full name was Stephen Anthony Wallace from Davidson County.

Wallace entered into an agreed order of retirement in Cannon County General Sessions Court on Aug. 26, subject to good and lawful conduct for 6 months.

He was ordered to stay away from the Midway Fire Dept.
