The Cannon County Sheriff's Department is looking for two tongues.
Deputy Steve McMillen responded to an address on Parker Road on March 5 for a report of theft.
Upon arrival he spoke with the purported victim, who stated he had two tongues which went on his house trailer stolen from underneath his house.
Tongues are the V-shape portion of the trailer that extends forward from the trailer frame.
The victim advised Deputy McMillan the tongues had been under his house for 20 years. They are valued at $600 apiece.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the tongues should contact the sheriff's department at 563-1000.
• In another reported theft, sheriff's investigators are looking for the person or persons who reportedly stole a digital camera from a home on Hollow Springs Rd. on March 2. The owner stated she went to Nashville with her mother on that date and when she returned home her television was on. She then noticed that her GE 500XL camera was missing.
