Margie Elizabeth Bowman

Margie Elizabeth Bowman, age 84, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at her home. She was a native of Cannon County and retired from Sam's Club after 15 years. She was a member of the Science Hill Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Cecil E. Bowman of Readyville; Children, Gary Bowman of Short Mountain Community & Rita Kay (Terry) Bryson of Readyville; Grandchildren, Chrissy Vaughn, Celia Beth Laxton, Cassie Lee Bowman, Nathan D. Bryson, and Brooke Bryson Vanderbent; 8 Great Grandchildren, Victoria Gudat, Kelsy Peters, Jacob Peters, Davin Wilson, Allie Gentry, Andre Gentry, Mallie Johnson, and Maddox Vanderbent.

Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by her parents late Hoyte Lee & Johnnie Paschal Knox.

Funeral services will be Thursday October 2, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of the Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Nicky Nichols officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 9:00 pm Wednesday, October 1, 2014.
