PrintMavis Ruth Odom Bly, age 72, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at her home. She was a native of Dickson Co., TN.
She is survived by her husband, James T. Bly of Canno Co.; Children, Betty Ann Mayo of Nashville, Bertha Elaine Kellebrew of Nashville, James Ray Bly I of Dickson, Vickie Diane Bly of Cannon Co., & Jo Ann Pelham of Nashville; Grandchildren, Lou Ann Marlow, Mavis Frances Mayo, James Ray Bly II, Rocky Joe Bly, James Alexander Reynolds, Dustin St. John, Kayla Lynn Clinton, Christiana Lynn Moore, & Roger Dale Kellebrew, Jr.
Also surviving are several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Edgar Odom & Lou Helen McEwen Duke; son, Robert Eugene Bly; and sisters, Bobbie Jean McWright & Ann Elizabeth Duke.
She was a member of the Baptist church and retired from E.L. Bruce Hardwood.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cummings Melton Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 11 to 8 PM Friday, December 26, 2014.
