Mildred M. Mathis Prater

Mildred M. Mathis Prater, 81, died Tuesday, April 24 at River Park Hospital in McMinnville.

A resident of Woodbury and native of Warren County, Ms. Prater was a member of the Ivy Bluff Church of Christ and a retired seamstress.

Survivors:  

Children: Wayne K. (Linda) Prater of Clark Lake, MI and Belinda J. Kiel of Woodbury.

Sister: Macon Todd of Woodbury.

3 Grandchildren: Michelle Prater Smith, Christine Prater and Michael Prater.

Special Nieces: Sherry Mathis Winnett and Savannah Winnett of McMinnville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Will B. Mathis & Nora Barrett Mathis; Husband, Merrion Leon Prater and her Son, Steven Prater.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Friday April 27, 2012 with Bro. Larry Womack officiating. Burial will be in Ivy Bluff Cemetery, Warren Co.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26 and Friday until time of  services.
