The first Music at the Mill was a tremendous success at Readyville Mill Saturday (Oct. 23). The event was presented by Live United, United Way and benefited The United Way's Cannon County Agencies.
Traffic at the Mill was rampant throughout the day as patrons continued to come through the gates to enjoy the sounds of five different bands - John Blankenship's String Band, Riley Jackson, Bruce Nemerove & Friends, Good Luck Ola, and the Stones River Pilots.
Not only did patrons enjoy a full afternoon and evening of wonderful music, but they also enjoyed the great tastes of varying food from The Blue Porch and The Kitchen.
People also had an opportunity to mingle through the Mill and there also was activities for children to keep them entertained when music simply was not enough.
