Nell Redmon Barnett, age 87 of Bradyville, Tennessee, passed away on January 4, 2011. She was a home maker and had worked at Colonial, Inc. in Woodbury, TN.
She was born on May 19, 1923 in Warren County, Tennessee to her parents, the late Willliam Thurman Redmon and Callie Wilson Tittsworth Redmon.
She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Lee Barnett and sisters, Clara Lance and Willie Winnett.
Nell will be fondly remembered as one who loved her family and friends, and enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.
She also loved to paint was considered to be an accomplished artist, completing her last oil painting at the age of 87.
Nell was a member of the Ivy Bluff United Methodist Church in Cannon County, Tennessee.
She is survived by her sisters, Robbie Parsley (Floyd) of Madison, TN and Dollye Elam of Bradyville, TN; Eva Maria of Germany who lived with Nell and her husband Lee for two years while studying in the United States as an Exchange Student; the Daniel families; several nieces, nephews and a host of neighbors and friends.
Visitation with the family was on Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN.
The Funeral Service was conducted on Friday afternoon, January 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Central Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Freeman officiating.
Burial followed at the Ivy Bluff Cemetery in Cannon County, TN.
