Nelson T. Denny

Nelson T. Denny of Woodbury passed away Fri., July 31, 2009 at the age of 80. A native of Putnam Co., his parents were the late Tony Lee & Lena Gentry Denny.

Graveside services will be 2:30 pm Sunday, Aug. 2 at Thyatira Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 10 am until 2 p.m. The family request no flowers, donations may be made to the Lumly Stand Church of Christ.

He is survived by his sons, Tony Lee Denny of Bradyville and Nelson Heath Denny of Centertown; 3 grandchildren, Calvin, Alex and Mattie Denny; Sister, Era Faye Freeze of Fl and Brother, Ben Denny of Garden City, MI.

Mr. Denny was a member of the Lumly Stand Church of Christ, a veteran of the Korean war where he severed in the Air Force and was a ret. school teacher.
