She was born April 20, 1924 in Woodbury, TN to Ezekiel P. and Mary Magdaline (Youngblood) Harrell. She married Darnell Witty in 1946. She later married Ben A. Hall on Jan. 22, 1968 in Houston, MO. He preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 2004. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and eight sisters.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Duane) Fredricks of Morton; two granddaughters, Tami (Michael) Cooper of Washington, IL, Valerie Johnson of Peoria Heights, IL; three step grandchildren, Todd, Tammy and Tony; six step great grandchildren; and her brother, Perry (Lula Mae) Harrell of MI.
Nettie was a homemaker. She was a member of the women’s auxiliary in Willow Springs, MO and was of the Methodist Faith. She loved her family and will be dearly missed.
Funeral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria, IL with Pastor Linda McKinney officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services on Thursday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
