Do hope you had a chance to be in the Lord's house on Sunday. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ's resurrection guarantees victory over death for those who believe. Those that don't acknowledge God was their creator and give all praise and worship unto Him in everything from the first warm rays of sunshine starting a new day to the shadows of darkness as nightfall arrives, then they are totally lost and they need Him so desperately in their lives.
Once you have accepted Jesus, you will not be that person you once were. Your whole countenance of living life will changed and you will only want to do for the Lord, not for yourself, and deep down inside of you peace resides as you have never known before. You will have that peace that passed all our human understanding, because only Jesus can give it to you. There will be no more doubts about Him only thoughts of just how great He is and wondering why you waited so long in accepting Hinm as your Lord and personal Savior. To died here is to live there in heaven for eternity with Jesus. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is better than that.

Weather always a puzzling thing to me as the weatherman was predicting a high of 75 degrees this Easter Sunday, but I don't believe it made it. With the cloudy skies and the cool drizzly rain, it seemed like a fall evening we were experiencing around here. The day before on Saturday, the weather was picture-perfect as the warm temperatures had so many of us getting outside to enjoy the outdoors.

We have some people we need to uplift in prayer: Prayer is always a powerful weapon. We should use it everyday: Edith Miller, Ruth Brown, Fay Pitts, Charlie Mai Daniel, Carlon and Mai Nell Melton, the family of Betty Gunter, Denise Stanton and the family of Frank Morrison.

Talking with a good friend of mine the other day and she said she had misplaced some things and simply couldn't find them. I asked her if she thought the "little green men" might be responsible for their disappearance and she said probably not. At that, I said to her, you don't believe in the little green men do you? She said no and I sort of lost it when I burst out laughing so hard and said I don't either, but I sure do like writing about them to which she chimed in saying she loved reading about them and what they were up to each week. So many others have told me they enjoy the little great fellas too, and that "invisble cow" and now someone has told me about "Harvey," a 10-foot-tall bunny rabbit. Glad Harvey didn't show up at any Easter Egg hunts. Bet all moms are too.
Folks, we have a bunch of fun about the little green men, the invisible cow, and the bunny rabbit and a little light-hearted laughter for a person will just make your day go better, I have found. We know, after all, they're not real, don't we?

The trees on the mountain behind our house are really greening out more and more with each batch of rain we have been getting. Stormy weather is moving in tomorrow so we have to keep any eye on it, according to the weatherman. The winds of March seem to be more intense this spring than they were last year at this time. As you already know, this time of year, we can expect heavy rain, hail and tornadoes to crop up on any given day. Be sure to keep abreast of the weather, when conditions warrant it. I've got to put out the rain gauge before the rain and thunderstorms get here. I've told you the rain gauge is "the berries" as it only cost a whopping $2 at Walmart. That was a steal so if you need one, check them out there. Evidently, it was a pain to get it up and working as it was a year in the making to make that happen.
