Hope everyone is doing fine this Tuesday, the 26th day of July. Mind-boggling how fast time is getting by so quickly as the school kids vacation is about to be over and yes, if there were any bells, they would be ringing loudly as it's always too soon to enter that building again a school is almost ready to be back in session. I know how you feel kids but that feeling trust me will pass as you'll be back with your friends and get settled in to your daily routine in no time at all. Get yourself a good education, because the dividends of it are priceless to render you a great future to be whatever you want to be in life.
Spoke with Chloe Evelyn Bogle on Monday and she's doing pretty good. She was telling me of a grand birthday party for Heather's youngest daughter Allie Taylor Ferrell who has turned 2 years old. Around twenty 'little ones' in attendance for Allie's big day in Centertown. Fun and games and kids having a ball with so much to do with all that energy the little tykes possess. Happy birthday Allie from Carol. Sounds like everyone had a great time and I just know no one there ate too much cake and ice cream.
Ruth Brown doing well last week. The rest of the family are all okay, too.
Ann Warren and the family were all fine when I talked with her on Tuesday evening. Of course, the weather that has been so very hot and sweltering here lately is on everyone's mind. Hopefully, we have some rain a coming around the bend to cool down the hot temperatures back into the 80's. Both Ann and I are looking forward to that happening. Had to tell Ann about a funny story of your truly watering my flowers of a morning instead of getting it done the evening before as I normally do. Wasn't thinking of just how wet the grass was from all that dew and the fact that I had mowed the yard a couple of days ago. Never know so much grass could gather and stay on your tennis shoes until you get into the house. There were slumps of grass and clippings from one end of the house to the other that had jumped off my shoes. It looked like it was growing in the house. Was going to go to Wally World but after studying just how bad the house looked jumped in and swept it out throughly (the bathroom was the worse) with the mats but I soon conquered that. I thought what if something happened to me and the girls would be in a state of shock about all that grass and the mess. I figured that would be a story about their mom they would tell till their dying days. Couldn't have that. Learned a valuable lesson -- one that won't be repeated!

'Little green men' Mr Corley are in seclusion / exile, as in hiding or on vacation like last year in the Bahamas. Knew you wanted to know about them. All that really matters is that they are out of our hair and into someone else's They will be back as they know how good they have it here on the mountain. A reprieve is what we needed from then so enjoy it while it lasts.
