Newton W. Wright, Sr., 49

Funeral services for Newton Wayne Wright, Sr., 49, of Murfreesboro were held Tuesday, July 28, 2009 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Saddler officiating. Burial was in Cherry Cemetery with Woodbury Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wright died Friday, July 24 at his home following an extended illness.

A native of Sommerville, New Jersey, he was a truck driver for Lewis Bakery, a memer of Smyrna Pentecostal.

Mr. Wright was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Taylor and grandmothers Myrtle Landon and Rita Taylor.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rhonda Victoria Rains Wright of Murfreesboro; parents, Rick and Mary Landon Taylor of Woodbury; sons: Newton Wayne Wright, Jr. and Jacob Wright, both of Woodbury; stepchildren: Tracey Lowe of Murfreesboro, Jayson LaFever of Smithville and Jeramy Parker of Auburntown; father and mother in law: Joe and Jo Ann Shelton of Murfreesboro; sisters: Pam Cawthorn, Sharee Seiffert, Lorrie Vogel and Sheila Holt of Woodbury; brother, Larry Taylor of Woodbury; eight step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers were Chris Hollis, Chris Forstel, Bert Adkins, Matthew
Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Jeramy Parker, Robbie Seiffert and Ed Bluebaker.
