Alma Lee Baines Stoner, age 98, of Woodbury passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at her home. She was a native of Wilson Co., Tennessee.
Survivors include her son, Arlis Stoner of Woodbury; Daughter, JoAnn (Randy) Simmons of Woodbury; Grandsons, Derick (Leanne) Simmons & Jeremy (Bridget) Simmons, both of Woodbury; and Great Grandchildren, Dericka & Lauren Simmons, Kaylan, Brinley, & Asher Simmons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvie & Eula Patton Baines; Husband, Mondie Stoner; Siblings, A.J. (Wilma) Baines, Ernest Ray (Ruth) Baines, Z.G. (Vera) Baines, & Dorothy Mae (Chalmus) Tedder.
Ms. Stoner was a member of the Dillon St. Baptist Church for 48 years. She was active in her church family, loved to cook & sew, and enjoyed taking care of children. She was a homemaker and worked at Colonial Corporation.
Funeral Services will be 2 PM Friday, September 29, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Tedder & Bro. Ray Patrick officiating. Interment will follow at the Riverside Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Rusty Tedder, Stacey Baines, B.J. Bobo, Ray Cooper, Jimmy Duggin, Virgil Duggin, Charles Markum, Dennis Watts, Bobby Bobo, & Tim Baines.
