The Special Education Department is in the process of purging the special education records of former students who received special education services in school and turn 25 years old during the year 2018 (children born anytime during the year 1994). NOTICE FOR COMMISSIONER APPOINTMENT
A vacancy will exist on August 31, 2019, on the DeKalb Utility District's Board of Commissioners due to the expiration of the term of Joe Foutch serving DeKalb County on the District's board. The Board plans to certify a list of three nominees to the DeKalb County Mayor to fill this vacancy at its regular meeting on July 3, 2019. A customer may submit a name for consideration by the Board for the list of nominees. Any names to be considered should be provided to the District's General Manager at least one week before this meeting. The Cannon County Board of Education is taking bids for the construction of a video recording platform in Robert A. Harris Gymnasium at Cannon County High School located at 1 Lion Drive in Woodbury, TN. For further details, you may visit our office at 301 W. Bids will be opened at 1:00 PM on June 25 at the Central Office of Cannon County Schools, 301 W. Main St., Woodbury, TN. Prospective bidders may obtain copies of the Contract Documents at the office of Cauthen & Associates, LLC, 2908 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville, TN 37214. A deposit of $200.00 is required for one set of Contract Documents. All bid deposit checks or drafts shall be made payable to Cauthen & Associates, LLC. Requirements for bid deposit refunds can be found in the expanded Advertisement for Bids bound within the Project Manual. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required from plan rooms not listed in the advertisement as already having bidding documents.
All bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1994 (TCA 62-6-119) with all bid submittals conforming to the State of Tennessee requirements. All bidders shall provide evidence of a license in the appropriate classification before a bid can be considered. Walk Through and Prebid Conference
At 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, a prebid conference will be held at the administrative office of Woodbury Housing Authority, 401 Mcferrin Street, Woodbury·, Tennessee, 37190, for the purpose of answering questions bidders may have and to consider any suggestions they may wish to make concerning the project. Immediately following the prebid conference, a walk-through of the project{s) will be held by the Owner. Although not mandatory, all contractors are recommended to attend this walk-through and prebid conference.
