Richard Jeffery Mathis

Richard Jeffery Mathis, 45, died Friday, October 28, 2011 at River Park Hospital in McMinnville.

Mr. Mathis was a member of the Church of Christ and was a sawmill worker. He resided in Woodbury and was a native of Cannon County.

Survivors:

Mother: Ella Bailey Mathis of Woodbury

Sisters: Rose Mathis of Woodbury, Nellie Bently of Woodbury and Tammy Mathis of Smithville                        

Brother: Bobby Mathis of Woodbury  

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Mathis; his wife, Brenda Mathis and his brothers, Jim & Wiley Mathis.

Funeral services will be at the Mt. Aarat Church of Christ  at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 31, 2011 with Bro. Bobby Hale officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Aarat Cemetery.

Visitation is from10 a.m. until  2 p.m. Monday.
