Come to Motlow State's Moore County campus this November to see the story of Sleeping Beauty like never before. The Spell of Sleeping Beauty is the Humanities Department's selection for the Fall 2024 Semester production and is perfect for all ages.

Vera Morris's retelling of the Sleeping Beauty folktale offers a new twist on a timeless tale. When the nasty witch Evilina is refused an invitation to Princess Briar-Rose's celebration of birth, she curses the child to fall into a sleep like death at the age of 16. Can Prince Alexander battle a wall of thorns, a false princess, and the Dark Knight to wake the princess and her kingdom from their curse?
