State Fair tickets go on sale, buy now and save

Tennessee State Fair admission tickets and unlimited ride passes are now available for purchase on-line at www.tnstatefair.org.

Featuring agricultural and educational exhibits, live music stages, and a midway packed with thrilling rides to provide fun for all ages, the State Fair, staged in Nashville annually, opens for a 10-day run beginning Friday, September 9. Admission tickets for all ages can be purchased for $6 and ride wrist bands for $25, if acquired on-line in advance before opening day. Otherwise admission prices are adults (18-54) $8; youth (3-17) $6; seniors (55+) $6; and children 2 and under free. Unlimited ride wristbands are available for $25 (Monday-Friday) and $30 (Saturday and Sunday).

The State Fair has been a tradition in Tennessee for more than 150 years dating back to the first Fair in 1855.
