Cannon County native Thomas 'Virgil' Hollis died April 4, 2010. Born June 20, 1928 in Cannon County. Preceded in death by son Thomas (Tommy) Coleman Hollis. Survived by wife of 61 years, Susie Grice Hollis; daughter Mary Hollis Hunter; sons, Ernest(Rita), Billy, James(Debroah), Charles(Donna); sister Odell Weeks of Murfreesboro. Raised in Cannon County, the son of Thomas and Mable Hollis. The brother of Chestel, Zemma, Ollie, Grace, Floyd, David(all deceased), and Odell Weeks of Murfreesboro who survives him.
