Two Arrested Following Assault At City Park

Two persons were charged with assault following an incident which took place at Brown-Spurlock Park in Woodbury on Sept. 12.

Arrested on Sept. 14 were Angel Ferrell and John David Wallace, Jr., both of Woodbury.

According to the report of the incident filed by Woodbury Police Department Patrolman Chris Brown, Ferrell and Wallace confronted the victim, Scott Hilton, at the park on Sept. 12.

During the confrontation, Ferrell accused Hilton of raping her in February of this year.

Ferrell's new boyfriend, Wallace, assaulted Hilton and while Hilton was on the ground, Ferrell kicked him in the ribs and in the side of the face, blacking his eye.

The report for the assault was taken on Sept. 14. Ferrell and Wallace were brought to the police department and admitted to the assault, according to the report. Both were taken to the Cannon County Sheriff's department and charged with assault.

The initial court date for Ferrell and Wallace has been set for Oct. 26 in General Sessions Court.

if she was raped why didnt she go to the police as a victim now she is going as an offender---
