Velma Jean Womack Bensmiller

Graveside memorial services for Velma Jean (Womack) Bensmiller, 87, of Chickasha, will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, 10am at the Friendship Cemetery SW of Minco, under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco

Velma Jean Bensmiller was born on April 28, 1935, at Woodbury, Tennessee to Valma and Mary Ione (Richardson) Womack, she died at her daughter's home in Chickasha at 87 years of age.

Jean was raised in Woodbury, Tennessee, graduating from Woodbury High School. She married Arthur Clayton Bensmiller on September 4, 1956, in Tennessee. They traveled with the Air Force and later moved to Oklahoma in December of 2019 from Woodbury.

Jean was a homemaker, she loved sewing, cooking, entertaining and was very active in the Church of Christ back home in Woodbury.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Art on February 5, 2022, grandson Brent David Bensmiller, brothers, J.W. "Jubba" Womack and Jimmy Womack

Jean is survived by her daughter, Christie Beller and husband Michael of the home in Chickasha

Sons, Clay Bensmiller and wife Jodi of Weatherford, Texas

Bill Bensmiller of Nevada

Hank Bensmiller and wife Brenda of Naples, Florida

Daughter-in-law, Donna Bensmiller of Weatherford, Texas

Sister, Jerry Bailey and husband Floyd of Woodbury, Tennessee
