PrintUpdated Closings For Thursday January 17th and 18th.
Bonnie Patterson, Director of Cannon County Schools has announced Cannon County Schools will be closed Thursday January 17th and Friday January 18th. In addition all ballgames and any other activities scheduled will be postponed.
Due to continued below freezing temperatures and icy conditions the Town of Woodbury Garbage Routes will not be run this week. The routes will resume normal schedule starting Tuesday January 23rd. Any questions call Shane Gannon at 615-563-4221.
Cannon County Executive Greg Mitchell has been busy this morning shoveling snow around the Cannon County Courthouse. Ivan Fisher and crew have put ice melt down on the east and west sidewalk entrances. In addition they have shoveled snow and put ice melt down on the entrances to the Adams Office Building.
As of right now the Cannon County Courthouse will re-open Friday January 19th. Please use discretion.
The Cannon County Convenience Center will also be open Friday January 19th.
