William Jennings Groom

William Jennings Groom, 82, who passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 in Goodlettsville, TN. He was a native of Wilson Co., TN.

He is survived by his Wife of 55 Years, Dorothy Nichols Groom of Goodlettsville;Children: Norma Kay (George) Paetzmann and Timothy Dale (Lydia) Groom all of Hendersonville; Grandson: Richard James Moore of Goodlettsville.

He was preceded in death by his son, William Darrell Groom and Brother, Larry Randall Groom.

Mr. Groom was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army. He was a member of the VFW and a self-employed trader.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Monday, June 01, 2015 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. John Paul Jones. Interment will follow in the Reed Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11 am until time of service, Monday, June 01, 2015.
