William Russell Lyons

William Russell Lyons was born in Cannon County on July 7, 1950. He departed this life August 4, 2011.  

He attended the Woodbury Grammar School and Woodbury High School.
 
He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted and loving mother, Nora Lyons; three sisters, Pauline Clark of Murfreesboro; Diane Lyons and Mary Katherine Lyons both of Woodbury; one brother, Johnny & Peggy Lyons of Woodbury; uncle and aunt, James & Katherine Batey of Woodbury; as well as, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and great nieces and nephews; devoted friends, Larry Merritt and Jerry Porter.
 
Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011 from 6-9 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 at 1 PM in the Smith Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow in Hoover Cemetery.
