Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Tonight, Saturday Morning

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 10 am CST Saturday.

* Main impact: up to one inch of snow will fall over northern middle Tennessee late tonight. 1 to 2 inches will fall over the Cumberland Plateau and surrounding areas.

* Other impacts: most of the accumulation will occur on grassy areas. Some roads may become slick.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
